Did you know that over 56% of consumers would rather send an instant message than call customer service? Utilizing Facebook Messenger as a customer support channel is beneficial for both the consumer and the producer. It allows customers to go about their day freely, rather than being placed on hold for an hour or longer. Using Facebook Messenger as a support channel is also convenient and efficient for business owners. Messenger allows you to create automated yet personalized responses. Facebook Messenger even allows you to configure a response time. This allows company pages to respond in a prompt time frame.

In the past few years, DIY website builder sites have really taken off. Websites such as Wix, Weebly and Squarespace offer free templates, your own website and easy to use technology. For startups and new businesses, the lure of low-cost, low-risk and easy-to-manage web builder software is irresistible. One of the biggest mistakes that a startup can make is attempting to take the easy route when building their website. In fact, building a company website with a website builder platform such as Wix can prove to be detrimental. At Faceless, we’ve witnessed how these cheap website builders can be a faulty platform, create website issues, cost money, and harm your company image.
“I need marketing” is something that a good business owner would say. However, there is not a business in the world that doesn’t need marketing or advertising.
There is a surprising amount of business owners who do not understand the difference between marketing and advertising. As a business owner, you should know where your dollar is going and how it is being spent. Part of that is understanding how you’re budgeting for marketing and advertising is taken care of. On the surface, marketing and advertising seem to be synonymous. Interchangeably, they are used to describe a process that helps you sell more products or services. However, there is a world of difference.
At Faceless Technologies, we’ve built a lot of websites for our clients, including landing pages, e-commerce, sliders, animation and everything in between. One of the biggest challenges of web building isn’t development and design. Rather, it’s explaining the process to our clients in a way that they can comprehend. We realize that not everyone is an expert in web development, web hosting, or domains. However, we want our clients and future clients to have a preliminary understanding of how their website functions. At Faceless, we are more than happy to explain our process. Additionally, we offer private education courses on everything from SEO to web design. Today is your special day: we are giving you this handy guide on domains, web hosting, and websites.
Have you ever done a quick search for your business online with different keywords and realized that your business information is not visible in most results? Or even worse, the incorrect information was listed? Read more
Have you ever landed on a 404 page or “page not found’ and had no clue what it was about? Yes, this has happened to many. 404 pages appear when you follow a broken link or type a web address that doesn’t exist. If you own a website or blog, having a broken link creates a really bad experience for your readers. Time is everything now a days. You have a very short time to get someone’s attention. Search engines view it as an indicator of low quality, which in turn is affecting your websites visibility & ranking. But don’t be discouraged, there are ways to make a 404-page beneficial to you.
Social Media: The Unnecessary Necessity
“I don’t need social media to promote my company” yeah those are the words from some people who think that social media is stupid & a waste of time for their business. We are all living in a world where technology provides the easy-quick access to information. If you want to look for a place to eat, you go online and search the place. Also people look up social media channels to see visuals & if there is something that catches the eye. The Sunday brunch avocado toast with a mimosa on the side image that you see on your feed from a friend you barely talk to, gives you the push to get out of bed & join the rest of the foodie movement. All based from an image, so why do so many people think that social media is unnecessary to the growth of their business?
Every so often at the Faceless office, we discuss the need and importance of customer service in business. We stress customer service to our clients and implement this into our own culture. Occasionally we share our frustrations from the customer perspective. During a trip to D.C. a team member told me their customer service frustration while they were in a high level global brand retail establishment, listening to a sales associate who was starting a fitting room for a customer. The associate asked if she should place the final items in the dressing room that was started. The customer said “yes, Thank You” where then the associate replied “No problem”
The infamous “snail mail” has gotten a reputation in the digital age as being an ineffective and outdated method of marketing. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Direct mail; also known as Every Door Direct Mail(EDDM) is still very much alive. EDDM didn’t die in the digital and mobile landscape. Rather, it just evolved with the times. At Faceless Technologies, EDDM/direct mail is one of our top print products. When implemented correctly, EDDM still has the potential to target the right customers, ensure maximum ROI and produce results.
